Our first trip to Mon Chalet was during our short time living in Denver. We talked about dipping our toes into the lifestyle but didn’t have many clues how to start. This website would have been helpful and that’s part of the reason we decided to put ourselves out there. We want newbies and anyone with questions to feel like they have a respectable source to inquire and indulge on intrigue. Denver has two swinger venues to check out: Scarlet Ranch and Mon Chalet. The former is your typical locale. It’s a popular for its themed parties and is certainly more upscale than the former. Mon Chalet is more our bag.
When you pull up to the the motel off the notorious Colfax Ave., you’re probably feeling a bit reserved. Colfax is one of the scariest parts of Denver. Up and down the avenue is some of the highest rates of crime in the Mile High City. Luckily, by the time you’re at Mon Chalet, you’ve reached Aurora; Denver’s quiet little sister. This infamous suburb has had its ups and downs. Despite Colfax’s reputation, when you check in at the front and pull through the gate, you’re in a secluded and safe nirvana.
The Facilities
It’s not your typical swinger club. It’s a lodge with 12 rooms to rent and an indoor pool with two hot tubs. The main attraction, of course, is the pool area where debauchery ensues all day and night; with the exception of a few early morning hours for clean up. The rooms come with plenty of features to make your stay unique:

These features, along with large, well-placed mirrors surrounding our king sized beds make our adult resort unique. We’ve frequented Mon Chalet many times; flying back for anniversaries and even some “just because” trips. Even after all our travels, we keep coming back. Why? Because it’s got exactly what we want. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming. Weekend nights are bustling with naked bodies leaving their inhibitions at the door and partaking in whatever fun they came for. Despite the common reservation, the feeling of the pool area is sanitary and clean. Newcomers walk in fully clothed and wait to join in on the nudity but the comfort is there and eventually, everyone ends up in the buff. Don’t worry, there’re two beds with clean sheets to set up and take care of business when things get hot and heavy underwater.
Our Experiences
Just like all others new to this unique experience, we took a good minute to get used to walking in and stripping down to our birthday suits. Luckily, Mon Chalet is BYOB! Having your favorite drink in hand goes a long way in lubing up your inhibitions. Just remember: don’t bring any glass and drink responsibly! It does no one any favors to have someone around who’s too drunk to play responsibly. We’ve been guilty at times, but it’s something we are so much more conscious about since we started.
As long as you’re there for a good time and aren’t too reserved, you’re going to have a great time. Many of the people you meet will tell you they’re regulars. Even if they aren’t, they’ve likely heard nothing but great things about it (rightfully so). The good times are far too numerous to list. Weekends are a must see for anyone in the lifestyle. You’ll find the place packed with beautiful people. Colorado is the fittest state in America so you already know you’re going to see some absolutely HOT bodies. We met a sexy Italian couple who got off on going down on each right in front of the entrance! She was completely unabashed and ready to get it on all night. You can explore a plethora of fantasies around the pool. I’ve been able to get close to sexy mature women, orgies, IR couples, and single ladies galore. The walls are projected with porn to get the mood going. It’s truly and experience you have to see to believe.
As far as cons, you’ll experience the common problems that come along with swinging and lifestyle parties. Single men are allowed only if they are renting a room; so they have paid a premium to be voyeurs and hope to participate in the action. We’ve met quite a few guys who couldn’t take the hint. but most of the single men are okay. Never have we had an issue with inappropriate touching.
For our three year anniversary, we got a room and stayed the weekend and had one of the wildest weekends ever. The mirrors above the beds make for such a sexy mood that we went home and set mirrors up all around our bed. If you want to take your sex to the next level, we highly recommend setting some up! After watching V roll around in bed with a former lesbian who had a very experienced tongue, we took an aftercare cuddle photo in the ceiling mirror and I still look at it and reminisce…

How much does it cost for a room and do I have to make reservations
Here is the link to the rates at Mon Chalet. You can pay to either stay the night or just enjoy the day/evening. We paid about $115 if I remember correctly for a lovely room. Single men have to rent a room for the night to attend. I1t works to keep the riff raff out. If you are going as a couple, you shouldn’t need to make reservations.
